Service Advisor/Warranty Administrator
Responsibilities
- Greet customers in a timely, friendly manner
- Answer telephone calls regarding appointments and work in process
- Schedule service appointments in computer program
- Obtain customer vehicle concerns and document accurately and clearly on repair order
- Refer to service history and recommend any additional service needed
- Review and verify warranty and service contract coverage and necessary documentation
- Provide complete and accurate cost estimates to the customers
- Advise customers on the care and maintenance of their vehicles and the value of regular maintenance
- Review repair orders to ensure work is complete and additional work and authorization is noted
- Explain completed work and charges to customers
- Maintain positive working relationships with customers to encourage customer retention and referrals
- Prepare and submit warranty claims to General Motors
- Process all warranty paperwork and ensure proper documentation is filed
Requirements
- Computer literacy and typing skills
- Ability to write simple correspondence with accurate spelling and grammar
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to effectively communicate information
- Previous automotive knowledge is a huge plus
- Basic math skills
- Ability to self-motivate and multi-task
- Maintain a professional appearance
Collision Repair Technician
Our repair technicians must make repairs according to estimate to manufacturer standards efficiently and accurately. Maintain proper inventory levels by ensuring that the correct parts are ordered and received. Communicate additional repairs as needed to the service manager. Assist other team members in preparation of repairs and repairs as needed. The proper use and maintenance of required personal protective equipment is expected. Compliance with all local, state and federal laws regarding the disposal of all hazardous materials.
Responsibilities
- Repair vehicles per estimate, according to manufacturer standards, with efficiency and accuracy
- Ensure correct parts are ordered and received according to estimate
- Communicate additional repairs needed to manager
- Cooperate and assist teammates in prepping and repairing vehicles
- Properly use and maintain all required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Comply with all laws and regulations pertaining to the usage and disposal of paints, thinners, and any other hazardous materials
Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Two or more years related collision repair experience preferred
- ICAR or ASE certifications and/or other collision repair schooling a plus
- Ability to read and follow instructions on repair orders
- Ability to repair or replace parts on damaged vehicles, and to determine whether replacement or repair is necessary
